Democratic nominee Joe Biden said he accepted he was on track to win the election in a speech in Wilmington after 12 PM on Election Day with the 2020 race yet to be determined.
“We like where we are. We truly do. I’m here to disclose to you today around evening time that we accept we’re on target to win this election,” the former veep told a crowd of allies with many key swing states still uncertain.
In an unbelievably brief three-minute speech, Biden approached the country to “show restraint” toward a huge number of mail-in votes posted during the COVID-19 pandemic still uncounted.
“It’s not over until each vote is tallied, each voting form is checked,” he said with his discretionary vote tally at 237 to President Trump’s 213.
Biden also claimed that he would triumph in the must-win state of Pennsylvania and said he was feeling bullish after Fox News declared him the winner in Arizona — a decision which has infuriated the Trump campaign.
