Presley Pritchard is suing her old department over her excusal from her occupation as a firefighter. The office blamed that the 27-year-old has been posting ‘provocative pictures’ on her online media and she lost her job in August 2019. Be that as it may, Pritchard thinks this is gender discrimination towards the ex-paramedic too by her superiors.
Pritchard has been working at Evergreen Fire Rescue in Montana for 3 years before getting fired for her provocative pictures.
Pritchard said, “I’m a good medic, I’m a good firefighter! I’ve never, ever once been talked to about my actual job.”
The influencer has 126,000 followers on her Instagram and is suing due to the wages, time and money lost on her side from the department’s inherent sexism. She also adds that there have been instances of s*xual harassment.
Pritchard shares a lot of her pictures in all kinds of clothing from swimsuit to baggy firefighter outfit.
The woman has also had fellow firefighters told him to wear male pants because her female-issues pants were too provocative.
Pritchard revealed, “Several male employees in the department have photos of themselves in uniforms and turnouts in front of fire trucks and at the department on their social media accounts.”
In addition, she also claims that a fellow male colleague had shared materials that support genocide on his social media account but was not reprimanded for his actions.
Most of Pritchard pictures are her doing firefighting jobs or working out at a public gym. The department, however, claimed that she is using Evergreen for her financial gain. But she added that the company never had policy on social media usage.
The company gave her the ultimatum to remove all pictures that were related to Evergreen before getting terminated. Pritchard has also endorsed for brands like 1UP Nutrition, Nine Line Apparel and Herbstrong.
But good news to Presley Pritchard!
In one of her more recent post, she wrote, “The state ruled in my favor 4x since August.” And on top of that, she has been hinting that she’s got her job back in a different place.
