We are always too conscious about how we look, our body, our hair everything. We even hate a mark on our body and always want to look perfect. Molly Higgins a 23 years old model from California had one the most difficult journey of life. she was just a newborn when her right hand was amputated and she had a severely damaged left hand. All of this got her bullied in school she did not like to see herself in the mirror. She was in depression and had suicidal thoughts.
With all this, she did not lose hope. She got herself out of depression and became a model whereas she only wore full sleeved t-shirts before because she lost one hand at birth and the other one was deformed. She shares about her journey and wants people to get inspired by it. She has about 8000 followers on Instagram. she also shared about one of her follower Katherine who was born with just one hand and now is also a model. She also had some similar struggles that Molly had to face in her life.
She is a role model to many like a mother approached her praising her that people like her son who was born differently-able has someone to get inspiration from, like Molly. Molly is totally independent and is working for Mirame Swimwear.
“I resolved that it was my life and I only have one, so why didn’t I let go and ease up on myself a bit. That’s what motivated me to start being more open about my own struggles and journey because I felt so alone for so long and didn’t want others to feel the hopelessness and isolation I felt,” Higgins said.
She felt so bad about her body previously and about her deformed hand but now she is confident and is a lot happier than ever. She not only stood strong in her life but now she also inspires people to how to face all the problems that live life gives you and always keep smiling and be happy.
