Blogger Mom Laura Mazza has sparked a divided opinion on the internet after revealing she’s proud of her son punching his b*lly back. The 33-Year-Old from Melbourne took to Facebook to explain son Luca, 6, informed her how he had to do something to prevent his classmate from b*llying him.

Mazza, who’s equally a mom to Sofia, four, and James, 2, however, insists she feels a little proud that Luca stood up for himself and even appreciated him for being truthful. “My son punched another kid today. I don’t think my kids are angels or the kids who do no wrong, but when it comes to my son, I know he’s not the type of kid to hit anyone randomly or ever b*lly anyone.’ Mazza wrote in a lengthy post.

Lucia, who’s equally a mom to Sofia, four, and James, 2, also appreciated Luca for being truthful.
After sharing her feelings, Laura asked a question: “What do you think of this?” She added: “I am willing to make mistakes. I know this is shocking online, but I am very happy to learn and always Receptive to suggestions.” But the mother talked about different ways of dealing with violence. But her first comment caused a different comment.
‘My son punched another kid today. I don’t think my kids are angels or the kids who do no wrong.’ The proud mom wrote.
Other mothers were quick to opine that the boy should have sought assistance from an adult rather than resorting to violence, while a few share how their kid faces the same thing at school. “Honestly, I would be super proud of my son if it were him! Sadly some teachers don’t always help the right children. I’m glad your son has the strength and support to know right from wrong and be truthful and stand up for what is right! Having shared her feelings, Laura threw a question: “What are your thoughts on this?”
Laura spoke of different ways to handle violence. But her first remark had sparked mixed reviews.
Another, Shannon Freeman, added: “Well done! He handled it well, and so did you! Some kids push the boundaries and never see the repercussions of their behavior. Our kids need to know that they are safe and when there are not, they have the power to change it.’
A third, Renee Flesher, opined Luca is taken for a treat. She stated: ‘Take your kid for ice cream; he has earned it. If the adults around him failed him and he knew he could face the consequences and still chose to stand up for himself, you, my dear, are raising a fearless leader.’
However, a teacher identified as Andrew Jonathan Richards thinks Luca’s action was heartbreaking.
