Kylie Jenner launched KYLIE Lip Kits in 2015. One year later, it was renamed KYLIE Cosmetics. When the brand was officially launched, the Spatz Laboratory in Oxnard, California produced cosmetics. Unsurprisingly, there is a huge demand for employees.
Fortunately, Irene López was one of many employees hired by the temporary agency to work on the assembly line in 2016. Kylie Jenner (Kylie Jenner) makeup factory employees said they felt “inferior” after their supervisor warned them not to look at the reality star during her visits.
While Lopez was in the factory, he revealed that Kylie would occasionally visit her mother, Chris Jenner, to verify the manufacture of her products, and (staff) were prohibited from watching reality TV stars. Lopez admitted to feeling belittled by her supervisor, and even added that Kelly never talked to employees, but quietly watched her as her shiny doe.

“Before they come in, our supervisor will tell us: ‘They can’t talk to them, they should continue to work, they can’t take photos or ask questions.’ 32-year-old Lopez told The Sun. She said that employees have to do a lot of work every day. There is a quota of 1,200 products.

According to reports, Kelly (pictured on the right) never talks with employees, but quietly watches the production of her blister series.
She added: “My supervisor there is very degrading to everyone. Everything must be perfect, otherwise, it will be thrown on your face like rubbish. If you don’t run fast enough, they will Will fire you.” The former worker claimed that she often cried after being scolded for not being fast enough on the production line.
“The supervisors I had there had been very degrading towards everybody,” Lopez said.
Similarly, Staff was told they could be laid off from the minimum wage job and replaced by someone else from the temp agency. Another employee, Martha Molasco, who had worked there from 2015 to 2017, said there were rules for staff when Kylie visited the factory. 31-Year-Old Martha added: “Supervisors would say, ‘Don’t talk to them, don’t even look at them.”
Martha Molasco, who had worked from 2015-2017, seconded there were rules for staff when Kylie visited.

It is unclear whether Kylie or Kris have instructed the supervisor or if they know the rules. Currently, Kylie Cosmetics no longer uses Spatz Laboratories as its factory. Martha pointed out that after 12 hours of shift work starting at 4 pm, physical labor caused her to face medical challenges from hand to elbow pain. Stopped at the factory midway at 4 am.
It’s not confirmed if Kylie or Kris had given the instructions or knew about the rules.
At the moment, Kylie Cosmetics is no longer using Spatz Laboratories as its factory.
Irene no longer works in the factory, but said that existing employees told her that the conditions were the same. The Sun reported that some former employees also filed complaints with the California Labor Commissioner’s Office. On the other hand, the online comments of other dissatisfied employees also painted a similar picture of the Spatz factory.
