The Model Hits The Runway in 57 and Proves The Age is Just a Number

Age affects us all and is a factor that cannot be changed by anyone. But it shouldn’t be a wall that stops you to pursue your dreams. Kathy Jacobs, a beautiful 57-year-old model, proves that age should not stop you chasing your dreams.

Like many models that are outside the size of the sample or age, Kathy breaks down the general general standards owned by the 5’3 high modeling world.

Kathy herself had been modeled earlier in 1991 for Ford, but never really became anything, until she auditioned for illustrated sports.

“This is my first red carpet at 57 years old! I was so grateful for that moment when I held tears when I came out, “she shares on Instagram.

The 57-year-old shares that she loves exercising, often riding her bike, and encourages others to find an exercise they love, too!

Once she shared, “Just start where you are now! That’s what I remember when I feel I did not hit my fitness goals! I will reward me today for trying! I hope it helps you too !! ”

 

She got to walk the red carpet and be on Sports Illustrated at the age of 57. All the dreams are achieved when she’s almost 60!

Kathy Jacobs was interviewed last year and shared, “I just want to show the world what 56 means. You know, it’s not like I’m ready to roll over and play dead because I’ve still got a lot more inside of me to do.”

Of course, to be shown in the magazine is a big impact that affects the readers of the generation of older and younger. She commented, “I feel like being in this magazine not only helps other women my age but young girls too.”

“Everyone is very frightened about getting older. I already have so many young girls send message me and say, ‘Thank you very much for doing this because I am not afraid of getting older again. I know my life will not end so I reached 30, 40, 50, or 60. ‘”

Married for 23 years, the happy mom and wife now share messages of self-acceptance and to keep persevering! Age is, indeed, just a number for her!
