A murder took place in one of Chennai’s most bustling markets all because of chicken biryani.
According to a Mirror Now report, a Chennai couple’s argument over a chicken piece in biryani got to a point where the man murdered the girl.
Now, for anyone who is from Chennai or has visited the busy Koyambedu flower market, it’s hard to imagine that a murder actually took place there. But that’s not all, right after the incident the man managed to escape through the narrow gullies of the market.
The report states that the girl was about 25-years old and is still unidentified, so is the boy who killed her.
Chennai’s Koyambedu wholesale flower market complex is pretty popular and people gather there from different areas for bulk purchases.
Police have registered a case and are conducting intensive investigations.
