Chinese Women Are Rocking Facekini To Protect Themselves from Tanning

Throughout East Asia, the ideal beauty is a pale complexion without freckles or blemishes. And it is summer, and many Chinese women are taking extreme measures to avoid sun exposure. From religiously carrying UV umbrellas to mirror visors, Facekini has become a way of life for many people. Chinese women use Facekini to protect themselves from the sun and tan.

They have become quite popular and are currently in mass production. They can be purchased at a local swimming store for 15-25 yuan, which is equivalent to 2.32 to 3.86 US dollars. Facekini can also be purchased online, with different bright colors and interesting prints, just like swimwear.
