Joe Biden nabbed the 1st victory of Election Day — winning each of the five votes of a little New Hampshire town that customarily counts their results soon after 12 PM.
The last vote count in Dixville Notch, New Hampshire — which is as a rule among the first in the country to reveal their election results — was shown not long after 12 PM on a transcribed banner board.
In the 2016 presidential election, Hillary Clinton won the Dixville Notch vote. At that point, the town, which is near the Canadian border, had 8 voters.
Two other areas in the state, Hart’s Location and Millsfield, have also historically offered midnight voting.
But due to the pandemic, voters in Hart’s Location will have to wait until 11 a.m. to cast their ballots over coronavirus concerns, WMUR reported.
