A dating app user criticized the platforms as “unfair” after she was banned after she was reported that they were fake. Alaw Haff, a 24-year-old glamor model from Mold, Wales, has been banned multiple times from dating apps like Tinder, Bumble and Hinge.
Passionate content creator shares her anger after learning that Simon Leviev, the infamous “Tinder scammer”, has been allowed to keep his account.
The man has been accused of scamming his dating and has amassed millions of dollars so far, however recent reports show the man was still active on dating apps despite the platforms’ official announcements to the contrary.
Alaw makes over £ 44,000 by sharing raunchy content on the adult platform. While her looks are her main selling point, She’s been a great help when it comes to finding that in apps.
Alaw also has a law degree but has been focusing on her entertainment career.
“Tinder Swindler” Simon Leviev is a notorious scammer who was the main object of interest in the documentary “The Tinder Swindler” on Netflix. His real name of him is Shimon Hayut and Simon Leviev is a false identity that he invented. He told the women that he was the son of Israeli diamond tycoon Lev Leviev.
It was estimated that he’d conned £7.4 million out of his victims.
Tinder shared that they would close his account earlier this month, but reports show Hayut was still active on the app a few days later.
Alaw was upset after she was banned twice on Tinder, once on Hinge, and once on Bumble. She shared with her 68.8k followers on Instagram, “The dating apps are treating me worse than the Tinder Swindler.”
“I had problems with a couple of my pictures, so I’d just replace them with others.”
She added, “I would never post anything offensive, but it’s hard to find a picture of myself wearing clothes when 90% of my pictures are in lingerie or swimwear due to my work.”
The model asked why her account was banned or restricted, but so far she has never received a concrete explanation.
“It’s always the same old automated response. I know I wasn’t nasty to anyone on there, I didn’t do anything criminal on there, I was well-behaved, so it’s got to be something like they think it’s a fake account or someone has too much time on their hands and keeps reporting me for some bizarre reason.”
“I genuinely think it’s someone bitter that reports me, or they somehow manage to associate me with and think I used the platforms for advertising purposes or sold subscriptions on there when I genuinely never [would] – I actually want to date!”
She’s even offered to provide proof of identification of herself, but none of them has responded to the offer. Alaw was sure that she never breached any of their guidelines and said that the removal without explanation policy is their “easy way out.”
