A woman who was crowned the strongest woman in Scotland in 2019 tried to break the current Guinness World Record for breaking the watermelon. Fitness fanatic Emmajane Smith (Emmajane Smith) appeared as a guest on the “This Morning” show, trying to break three watermelons with just his thigh.
Emmajane was declared the strongest woman in Scotland in 2019.
No Guinness World Records authority was present to verify this achievement; however, the host suggested that Emmajane’s time record could be submitted in case she breaks the previous record for consideration after the performance.

Emmajane smith admits that this is completely different from her daily work. She told the host, “What I like is something that everyone can relate to. This is a great way to show how powerful women are. Everyone knows what a watermelon is.”
Emmajane isn’t the first woman who attempted this – previously, a woman from Las Vegas had attempted as well and so far, Guinness World Record has not been officially approved.
Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield started the show by reminding people of Olga Liaschuk, the Ukrainian who broke three watermelons in 14.65 seconds in 2015. She is amazingly dexterous. “In other words, Olga still has the title, but can it be defeated?” Philip asked. The woman who is accustomed to weightlifting finally wants to smash the watermelon for a different taste.

While Olga’s time record was 14.65 seconds, Emmajane smith managed to break hers with 1.52 seconds left!
Phillip explains before she begins, “Obviously, there are no Guinness World Record people here to adjudicate this record. But what we can do is, if we think we’ve done it, we can send the footage with the timings and the paperwork. And hopefully, if you have done it, you get a world record.”
A new record?! She got it with almost two seconds left from the current record time.
