Moscow-based photographer Alexander Yakovlev is master of capturing the human body in motion. His photographs of professional dancers exude elegance and a gorgeously refined energy.
For this series, The Mirages, Yakovlev had the incredible idea to cover his subjects with flour. This added element accentuates each dancer’s graceful movements and adds a bit of magic and mystery.
