Everyone goes through tough phases of life. We want our every dream to make it real. But sometimes, life is not as much easy as we think. Everything fades into a forgotten part of an individual history. Sometimes we work hard for it but at the end, we have to give up. So today I will tell you about the “Giraffe Woman” who stretched her neck for 5 years to look like a Giraffe but at the end, she gives up.

Meet Sydney Smith from Los Angeles called the “Giraffe woman”. She was obsessed with giraffes and she determined to stretch her neck to appear to be a giraffe. She did it for 5 long years however now she is prepared to surrender on her dream. well, this segment of her life will recover from but her warped neck will usually remind her of beyond decisions she made.

Sydney is 30 years old and wanted to be recognized on the international level for her abnormally long neck like giraffes. She continuously wore tight rings around her neck for 5 long years to stretch her neck. however now she is prepared to remove them as she has given up on his dream.

The Giraffe woman was inspired by the  Kayan people in South East Asia who’re actually well-known for their long necks. if you want to set up their cultural identity, the Kayan lady starts carrying this ring at the age of only five. consistent with a few theories, the rings are worn by means of women of Kayan to cause them to appear less attractive. It prevents them from being taken as slaves.

Smith says about removing her rings, “I couldn’t function properly as a long neck woman with fifteen rings around my neck in the United States of America. Unless you are willing to completely isolate yourself and you’re a trust fund baby and don’t ever need to leave the house, don’t ever need to drive, then maybe you can pull it off.”

She told, “I spent five years of my life with rings around my neck and I just became very introverted and isolated and felt like the rings were taking over my life in every way. It was always about the rings, it wasn’t about Sydney anymore. I tried sticking my neck out to make it work but logic kicked in after a while.”

Now, Sydney has removed her rings and revealed her natural neck after giving birth to a baby girl. however,  But that was just unexpected for the doctors.

After giving up with her rings, Sydney proudly considers herself  “Giraffe woman”.She also shares her photographs without rings on her 11000 followers, Instagram.

But, she had given up on her dream but she is managing the repercussions due to stretching her neck beyond its abilities
