Apple announced APPLE CARD ,an innovative, new kind of credit card designed to help customers lead a healthier financial life.
That’s right. Apple has introduced a new service called ‘Apple Card’, which is essentially a credit card that will live both virtually in Apple’s Wallet app and in the physical world as this slick-looking card made out of titanium. Here, check it out –
Apple says it wanted to eliminate the things that people don’t like about credit cards. So with Apple Card, there’s no late fees, no annual fees and no international fees. It’s like the perfect credit card that’s made to kill the actual credit cards.
“Apple card builds on the tremendous success of Apple pay and delivers new experiences only possible with the power of iPhone,”said Jennifer Bailey, Apple’s vice president of Apple pay.
Additionally, Apple says it will also offer cashback rewards on a daily basis to Apple Card users. I mean, who would have thought that Apple, out of all the companies, will offer cashback rewards? Like, seriously.

The customers using the Apple Card will be able to get 3-per cent cashback for purchases made directly with Apple. You’ll also get 2-per cent via the virtual card and 1-per cent when usingthe physical card. The transactions are also a lot safer as it uses Apple’s FaceID or TouchID for authorizing the payments. They gives customers easy-to-understand, real time, views of their latest transactions and balance right in wallet , and Apple card support is available 24/7by simple sending a text from messages.
The laser-etched titanium credit has no credit card number, CVV, expiration date or signature. All the information is stored directly in the Apple Wallet app. The company is partnering with Goldman Sachs for the card, and Mastercard will handle the payment processing.

Apple’s credit card will only be available if you’re an iPhone owner. iPhone users can sign up for a card in the Wallet app, and the qualified users will be approved for an Apple Card. Sadly, the Apple Card is currently limited to the US, but the company is expected to bring it to other countries where Apple Pay is available. Sadly, India isn’t a part of those countries right now, but let’s hope that changes soon.
