Democrats retained their control of the House of Representatives on Tuesday as expected, US networks revealed, slightly extending their majority in the 435-seat chamber.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was relied upon to build her party’s majority by at any rate four or five seats in the election, Fox News and NBC News announced.
Such an outcome would be a lift to Pelosi who has clarified she will try to move back a few of President Donald Trump’s first-term orders or activities in the event that he loses reelection.
