Pacific Island Nation Vanuatu Records 1st COVID-19 Case

Vanuatu has recorded its first case of the Covid-19 after a resident who had been repatriated from the United States tested positive while in isolate.

The Pacific country had been among the last barely any nations to have kept away from the virus inside and out.

Health authorities state the 23-year-elderly person was asymptomatic when he returned on Nov. 4 and his disease was confirmed Tuesday after schedule day 5 testing.
